Årets Köpcentrum/Galleria: H3/Bromma Blocks
H3/Bromma Blocks i Bromma blev utsedd till Årets köpcentrum 2011 under Retail Awards i Stockholms Stadshus den 15 mars 2011!
Med mycket nytänk i en i övrigt historisk miljö har man lyckats skapa en riktigt spännande kommersiell miljö. Här blandas olika typer av butiksmiljöer friskt och i breda gångar shoppar kunderna i ett strosande tempo, då det finns så mycket att upptäcka överallt. Vattenfontän, läckra armaturer, färgspel, spelande klättervägg för barnen och toaletter med upplevelse, ökar totalintrycket.
Juryns motivering:
Årets vinnare är ett center som utmanat de traditionella galleriagångarna och skapat ett kvinnligt, sinnligt strosande rörelsemönster i kundstråken. Man har vågat hålla i sitt koncept genom hela projektet, både mot hyresgäster, entreprenörer och politiker. Resultatet är ett lyxigt center med både värme, själ och överraskningar.

Shopping Center of the Year 2011
The winner of the 2011 shopping center competition in Sweden was H3/Bromma Blocks.
A lot of creativity and new ways of thinking has gone into this alteration of an historical landmark to an intriguing and functional galleria. H3 is the third hangar of the old 1940's Stockholm Bromma Airport with a mark of cultural interest. Seven different types of store formats, many of them never seen before, were designed to be able to house all the stores in a rectangular 18 meter high empty building you were not allowed to make into an ordinary two story structure. The result appealed to the jury whose motivation read:
This year's winner is a center that has challenged the traditional galleria design and created feminine and sensually strolling movement pattern in the alleys. They have also dared to stick to their original concept, no matter the objections, in negotiations with authorities, entrepreneurs and tenants alike. The result is a luxurious center with both heart, soul and lots of surprises.
